This is an annual event that my brother Adrian Garza initiated after our mom passed away on August, 28th 2008. The ranch where the dove hunt is located lies west of San Diego Tx. approximately 12miles off hwy 44 towards Freer Tx. Proceeds go towards a scholarship fund In Memory of Elena A. Garza, whom lived in La Rosita during her youth. A San Diego High School student receives this scholarship upon his/her graduation.
